BES boss leaves RIM for another company!

Another block taken from the jenga stack known as RIM as of late, the boss of BES (Business Enterprise Security) John Vandermay is leaving the company. This is number 5 in the executive loss pool.

Is this one more reason RIM might be sold? Maybe to Google , or HTC who this week said they would be willing to buy their own OS?

Either way hit the link below for more info.

Google buying Motorola Mobility!

Hello Moto! No matter how you feel about it you have to admit this is big news for the android community. Motorola has been a big part of androids push in the Verizon network and helped pave the way for honeycomb tablets for android.

Now before everyone gets a crazy about Motorola understand they are still going to run their mobility department (only the mobility department was purchased) as a separate company. Sorry no dedicated hardware vendor for google yet. But as Engadget states "what about the likes of Samsung and HTC"?

Only time will tell but for more hit the link below.

Htc kingdom to be released as the Hero 4G (rumor) ?

In what would be a smart move, the rumored HTC Kingdom that will heading to Sprint has been rumored to be branded as the Hero 4G. As an original Hero owner I feel this is a great move. The original Hero has a great following and was the original android phone for some, including yours truly.

The specs read as a 3D less EVO 3D, minus the fact that it is a 756 mb dual core and not 1.2 dual core. I have the Evo 3D and love it but I can see where this is a good spot filler like the htc droid incredible is for the Verizon line up. Things might be getting a lot better at sprint.

For more info on this story but the link below and leave a comment and get a google+ invite.

Is Google finally shaping up and going to introduce all this along with the full roll out of Google+ (which I still wait to join)? Will this finally push its app store into apple status?

We will all be hoping that this is a sign of a more energized Google experience to finally surpass the Appleverse, until then hit the link below for more info.

Google+ from the outside!

*update* I have been invited per a twitter friend @CharissaCowart - new article to come soon, from the inside!

If you have Google+ this is not for you unless you just got a it, then you can understand where I'm coming from, for all other's hear me out.

I listen to podcast I view pulse, and even email but no Google+ for me. I hear all these people tell me how great it is and hell even Zuckerberg is on it an he is the competition. As a first time adopter it burns to no be apart of something that sounds to be so epic.

I know in due time it will come but Facebook is getting old and I already live in the Google world so why not make this thing official. Like so many others I feel like the desperate guy begin for a chance with the hot chicken.

We all love the innovations Google brings to the table but the waiting is killing me. I feel like Celine Dion in her song "all by myself", so Google hurry up with my invite. Thanks for hearing my rant.

RIM Blackberry to be killed by Apple's iOS 5?

With the recent announcement by Apple of iMessage that works across all Apple devices, RIM (maker of the blackberry) should be concerned.

Let's be straight about one thing, I actual love.blackberries, I've had 3 in my phone life. Blackberry messenger, and the business sector, are the only things holding RIM afloat. There are rumors of a cross platform Blackberry Messenger coming to android in the fall and then iOS in the first quarter of 2012, but will it be enough?

We all can agree that RIM is behind the times but are they a lame duck or can they pull a Sega and go from hardware to software? They have great apps and have that business mind set that could benefit say a Google. The thought of Google purchasing RIM has been whispered since the rumors of Android running on the Playbook.

Regardless of what happens RIM does need to make a move soon or follow the fate of Nokia.

Sprint rolls out carrier billing.

Sprint rolling carrier billing is great but if you have been paying attention to this blog then you'll know my view which is. This is one more step towards getting closer to Sprint becoming Google's wireless carrier.

As a Sprint customer and a android user it gets me excited but at this point this is pure speculation. For more imformation hit the link below.

Sprint launching NFC payments this year!

Sprint announces thy will be the first carrier in the United States to offer NFC payment by the end of 2011. This is a bold move on the part of Sprint but this blogger ask the question is this a move to become Google's wireless carrier?

Reason I say this is because first Sprint announces Google voice integration for voicemail services. Next the announcement of the nexus S (a pure Google phone). Finally Google has been really working on NFC payments and now Sprint announces NFC payments.

This is just speculation on my part but things are shaping up, for more about Sprint's NFC plans hit the link for more info.

Amazon aims for the sky with Amazon Cloud!

Have you been waiting for an alternative to iTunes or even just another way to store your music on your device? If you answered yes to even one of these vague questions then Amazon nay have just answered your prayers, if you have a PC or android phone that is.

Amazon Cloud will allow you store 5gb of music and then charge you a monthly charge for additional gb's depending on the amount of storage needed.

As a side note Google really dropped the ball and got beat on this one. This makes you wonder if Amazon is going to create that ecosystem that android users so long for (Apple beware).

For more info hit the link at the bottom, see ya in the clouds.

Will Googles attack against content farms kill upstart tech blogs?

With the recent that Google is going to tackle content farms so that sites create more original content but will it kill other things? I personally write this blog part time because the blog is only a month old but sometimes content is.in reference to other articles, but never plagiarized. But Google's attack will us an algorithm to decide what content is original and what is not, will that kill blogs that are not first to post events?

I am in favor of killing content farms but at the same time you may kill free speech for the average part time blogger, also this could hurt blogging sites like blogger, WordPress and many others as what would stop the algorithm from blocking them, the entire site, rather then each site through their service?

These are just my views and concerns, I hope Google is listening and paying attention, later.
